The Dilley Family Scholarship for West Virginia helps make an Ohio University education more affordable for students from the Mountain State. Established in 2022, the endowed scholarship provides lasting support for West Virginia students with demonstrated financial need and academic merit.
The fund was designed to offer four-year, renewable scholarships, with the first award planned for the 2024–25 academic year. Matching support through The OHIO Match program helped grow the endowment, extending its ability to support future generations.

The scholarship carries forward a longstanding family commitment to education. Frank Dilley served Ohio University for more than 35 years, including as registrar and director of admissions, helping thousands of students begin their college journeys. His four children also attended the university.
Augusta Family Foundation’s support helps strengthen the scholarship, continuing that family commitment and expanding educational opportunities for West Virginia students.
